Caring for your Meditation Pillows

Your zafu and zabuton, without removable covers, can only be spot cleaned. Please keep them in a safe place and we recommend not to eat or drink while sitting on a zabuton that does not have a removable cover.

Covers for the zabutons and support cushions can be washed in cool water using mild laundry soap. We recommend either hanging the cover to dry or using the low setting on your dryer to prevent shrinkage.

Silk covers should be dry-cleaned. See if there is a “green cleaners” in your neighborhood for least toxic dry cleaning.
