How to use Dreamcraft Pillows for Bodywork
Marilyn Moser-Waxman, the owner of Dreamcraft, is also shiatsu practitioner. From her own experience along with consulting other professionals in the field of bodywork, she has created pillows from natural fibers and fabrics that provide wonderful support for both the practitioner and client.

 For the practitioner:
Also known as a meditation pillow, this offers support to the bodyworker to sit on during more quiet, still times of the treatment and helps the practitioner to maintain good posture and remain in the hara, or core of our center. It is especially helpful to use as support when working on the client’s head.
For the client:
When working in side position this pillow can be place under the top knee to keep the client from tilting forward.

5 x 14 neckroll
This is the perfect side position pillow for under the head.

This pillow offers good support under the neck while not pushing the head up too high.

 6 x 24 bolster
One of our most popular pillows because it is so versatile. This pillow is great for under the ankles when the receiver is either prone or supine. It provides good elevation under the knees when your client is lying prone to help ease tension in the back.
The 6 x 24 is also a great side position pillow. For those clients who tend to lean down towards the mat while in side position, lift the top leg and place it on top of this bolster.

 Double Roll
The double roll can be filled with either buckwheat hulls or wool, for either a firm support with the buckwheat hulls or a soft support from wool.
This pillow supports the curve of the neck without pushing up the head, and also supports the top of the head.
